The author started writing as a daily journal to help him get through a sudden and unplanned life change one that was unforeseen. It was more of a daily journal of detoxing negative energy to more positive affirmations to help him change his mindset from being disenchanted and disappointed, to creating moments of laughter, hope, lessons, and opportunities. He started writing them before he went to bed, a kind of daily detoxing practice or method. One day, he decided to share it with a dear friend, who was having several bad days in a row. He decided to say hey, I write these daily messages to myself to help me get through the tough part of a moment, day, or event and turn it into a daily positive lesson. That one person has become several hundred daily shares today, which then became a book idea. It started with one simple reflective message to himself, to find joy and lessons in his day, for him to read and reflect as needed, something positive to remind him of the opportunities ahead and the lessons learned. The book is designed to change the way we think, change struggles into opportunities, change, disappointment to joy or happiness. Reflecting on lessons that negative situations could create a positive solution. Enjoy the book, have a good read, and as I always say “just be you.”
